GREASE TRAPS / ARRESTORS
Corrosion Protection Services has developed new technology to refurbish existing grease traps instead of having to replace your
current grease trap.
Corrosive gases can eat away the sides, base and baffles of a grease trap allowing trade waste to flow directly into the sewer.
When refurbishing we often find after water blasting, there is little structure left in the grease traps.
Our new technology allows us to refurbish the grease trap to ensure ongoing strucural integrity before installing a one piece
corrosion resistant liner.
This is an ideal option where access is a problem, or to extend the life and/or capacity of your grease
trap.
Concrete has a limited lifespan and may need further refurbishment works within a few years. Our Liner system will extend the life
of the grease trap and make it 100% corrosion resistant.
McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Seaworld, Movieworld, The Marriott Hotel (Surfers Paradise) together with numerous private
clientelle have recognised our innovative trade waste system and utilise it for necessary grease trap refurbishment work.
Sydney Water is one of the many local government entities that has given approval for our product to be used within their shire.
We have upgraded to stainless steel guides, as these are often the first things needing replacement ensuring
customer satisfaction with the COMPLETE product.
Current Local Government Legislation makes 250ltr grease traps obsolete; they should be updated to a minimum of 550ltr to
comply with legislation.
We can increase the capacity of a 250ltr up to 550ltr to ensure compliance. Our system is environmentally friendly, often no
need to excavate (apart from conversions), and minimal alteration to the existing structure.
All work is done on site, in conjunction with staff and management to ensure there is no loss of trade during refurbishment.
Chequer plate or gas tight lids can be replaced if needed.
The grease arrestor at the NSW State Library (see 2 pictures on right) was seven floors down, with access via the lift only,
creating difficulties in installing a new grease arrestor.
CPS refurbished the existing grease arrestor, together with an outlet conversion and new lid.
In NSW older grease arrestors have their outlet located at the bottom of the grease arrestor.
We can install an outlet conversion, bringing the outlet in line with current grease arrestor outlet positions.
