Pumpstations - Manholes - Rising Mains - Stormwater - Grease Traps/Grease Arrestors - Reservoirs
The CPS System can be used in a variety of situations in trade waste, water and sewerage environments. Our system is a proven
method of relining and refurbishing degraded structures, such as Manholes, Pump stations, Storm Water Pipes, Rising Mains,
Grease Traps, Water Holding Tanks, in fact any degraded structures or surfaces to help reduce future maintenance costs.
The CPS System allows 100% control on gel times ensuring 100% chemical cross links giving a greater flexibility than other
Epoxy systems used which allow minimal control on gel and recoat times. This also ensures better adhesion properties. The
CPS System has 100% chemical resistance from the first layer through to the top layer.
Some trowelable epoxy systems used in sewer rehabilitation have low acid and alkaline resistance and product manufacturers
will only warrant their product up to 5 years, limiting the warranty we can pass on. We offer a product much more suitable for
sewer and potable water rehabilitation where we can comfortably offer a high warranty on product and workmanship.
Our system is 100% chemical resistant, environmentally friendly and POTABLE WATER APPROVED. Our Director, Kelvin
Attkins, has had more than twenty (20) years experience in this industry and has completed many successful projects. Staff
members hold current Confined Space Certificates and are fully trained and equipped to complete any job. WH&S is a
priority to our company and our employees, and we endeavour to keep our employees protected with essential up-to-date safety
equipment.
Let the CPS Crew restore your ASSETS!
We have the right tools and staff for the job!!!!

PUMPSTATIONS
Corrosion Protection Services have carried out a large number of pump station refurbishment works throughout South East
Queensland (refer experience page).
New pump stations can have a liner applied before commissioning so they are corrosion resistant and prevent degradation
before it happens.
Older pump stations are rebuilt to original dimensions, providing ongoing structural integrity, then refurbished to prevent any
further degradation.
Pump stations in use are trowelled back to their original dimensions, ensuring ongoing structural integrity and corrosion
resistance. The refurbished surface is left with a smooth even finish ensuring easier cleaning and maintenance.
All our products are corrosion resistant from the first layer through to the top layer. Pump stations can be worked live and
refurbished to water level, so stations remain on-line.

MANHOLES
On manholes we offer two services, dependant on their condition. They can either be relined, or in less severe cases, the joints
can be refurbished, or joints and a seal coat can be applied. Joint refurbishment helps prevent infiltration from salinity and tree
roots etc. coming through the joints.
The refurbished surface is left with a smooth even finish ensuring easier cleaning and maintenance. Even when degraded to Rio
or dirt, most manholes can be rebuilt to original dimensions, ensuring ongoing structural integrity. A trowellable liner is then
applied to ensure ongoing corrosion resistance.
In Manhole relines any repairs to benching can also be done. There is often no need to replace convertor slabs as these can also
be refurbished.
There is no need to alter the existing structure and all work is carried out from inside the structure.

RISING MAINS
Corrosion Protection Services has been involved in rising main repairs at Robina on the Gold Coast. This rising main pipeline was
refurbished by Corrosion Protection Services to prevent raw sewerage entering the water below and turning into a major
environmental disaster.
Our system was applied to the rising main to assist structural integrity and strengthen potential weak spots, preventing further
blowouts.

STORMWATER
Corrosion Protection Services was involved in the reline of storm water pipes on the Gold Coast. A chemical spill badly degraded
the concrete in this storm water pipe on the Gold Coast.
Using our products, the pipes were rebuilt and refurbished back to their original dimensions ensuring ongoing structural integrity
and preventing further corrosion should chemicals re-enter the system.

GREASE TRAPS / ARRESTORS
Corrosion Protection Services has developed new technology to refurbish existing grease traps instead of having to replace your
current grease trap.
Corrosive gases can eat away the sides, base and baffles of a grease trap allowing trade waste to flow directly into the sewer.
When refurbishing we often find after water blasting, there is little structure left in the grease traps.
Our new technology allows us to refurbish the grease trap to ensure ongoing strucural integrity before installing a one piece
corrosion resistant liner.
This is an ideal option where access is a problem, or to extend the life and/or capacity of your grease
trap.
Concrete has a limited lifespan and may need further refurbishment works within a few years. Our Liner system will extend the life
of the grease trap and make it 100% corrosion resistant.
McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Seaworld, Movieworld, The Marriott Hotel (Surfers Paradise) together with numerous private
clientelle have recognised our innovative trade waste system and utilise it for necessary grease trap refurbishment work.
Sydney Water is one of the many local government entities that has given approval for our product to be used within their shire.
We have upgraded to stainless steel guides, as these are often the first things needing replacement ensuring
customer satisfaction with the COMPLETE product.
Current Local Government Legislation makes 250ltr grease traps obsolete; they should be updated to a minimum of 550ltr to
comply with legislation.
We can increase the capacity of a 250ltr up to 550ltr to ensure compliance. Our system is environmentally friendly, often no
need to excavate (apart from conversions), and minimal alteration to the existing structure.
All work is done on site, in conjunction with staff and management to ensure there is no loss of trade during refurbishment.
Chequer plate or gas tight lids can be replaced if needed.
The grease arrestor at the NSW State Library (see 2 pictures on right) was seven floors down, with access via the lift only,
creating difficulties in installing a new grease arrestor.
CPS refurbished the existing grease arrestor, together with an outlet conversion and new lid.
In NSW older grease arrestors have their outlet located at the bottom of the grease arrestor.
We can install an outlet conversion, bringing the outlet in line with current grease arrestor outlet positions.
